Everything rolls better and smoother. This guy will be unreal by the time he’s a senior. The hype is real.” That’s basically what I saw against Milan last Friday also. I will say, 16 didn’t get many chances against Milan though. I think he only played a couple of series. Sounds like he played more tonight. Regardless, it sounds like 12 will be the guy. Well if the 1's played first half and we kept it 15-7 then that is a win for our starters. Just keep grinding and getting better everyday and we should be fine! Those first 4 games are brutal though in the regular season. We could be anywhere from 1-4 to 3-1. I dont see us coming out of that 4-0. Lol By the way did Jayln Foster and Jamarcus Johnson play? I doubt Johnson did he was in a boot last Friday.
westtn1
HC got the ball first in the first half, and was able to move the ball and run the clock before the drives stalled with interceptions or punts. One of our interceptions was deep in our territory that lead to a score for them. One was deep in their territory that prevented us from scoring. The HC score was set up by a shanked punt that gave HC the ball on about the MBA 20 with less than a minute to go in the half. 2 pass completions lead to the score. The 2nd half began with the starters out for both sides. HC moved the ball well and got down to the goal line and MBA put some of there more experienced players in causing us to kick a field goal. HC had two other drives that ended with fumbles deep in MBA’s territory. We were able to move the ball with the run and screens in the first half, and the run including QB keeper in the 2nd half. We defended the run well in both half’s but MBA moved the ball through the air in both half’s. They looked really good throwing the ball.

We wont face a team quite as good as MBA all year but we will face some big time teams in Haywood, Beech, Brentwood, and Germantown. We have to clean up the turnovers to beat those kind of teams. Did Jayln Foster play #5? Kinda disappointed that they passed so well on us with Joe Travis and Jawon Odoms back there in coverage. All in all good learning tool going forward. That's what we need. If we went out there and won 40-0 then we dont learn anything. Let's get after it! GO BIG RED!!!
ItsAlwaysSunnyInAtwood
MBA is a heck of a football team, just learn from the mistakes and start fresh Monday. Good luck HC

Which also means 8 and 27 are having to play both ways a ton. Once 5 and 48 get back to carry some of the rushing load, we’ll be much better off.

He is the fastest on the team. #1, #8, #27 are close behind. # 7 the transfer from Arkansas is back and got a lot of reps in the MBA scrimmage. He looks the part.
