Thought we played well against 6A competition last night. Of course, it is Station Camp. Hard to understand how a school so large doesn't field a better team year in and year out.

I agree. Pretty sad.

I watched them play Lebanon last year and sat right behind their sidelines. Lebanon won that game 42-0 but the talent gap wasn't that wide.

There was no energy or organization on the sideline even before kickoff. They looked like they were running the same 4-5 plays the entire game to the point to where in the 2nd half the Lebanon players where adjusting pre-snap and calling some of the plays. The fans were screaming at the coaches "turn the playbook to page 2" and "are we gonna run left or right".

From what I've heard they are in a bad spot due to zoning. But from what I've seen they should be better than the product on the field. I think they need a coaching change.

My understanding is they lose good players to Beech, Hendersonville, and JP II.

Talked to a gallatin assistant this morning about this, they rezoned a few years back and station camp lost a lot to gallatin and a few to beech, he said in 2 years gallatin will be 6A, beech will be pushing 6A numbers and station camp will be a smaller 5A school

Maybe they can make the playoffs. I had heard that Beech and Gallatin will be 6A. That will be a death nail for them. Gallatin and Beech will never be state contenders in 6A.

    • Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
    • Interesting how quite it is. Rumors are going around that Anderson County is being looked at by TSSAA for recruiting violations with the Campbell County transfers.
    • I heard from a member of the teaching staff that there has been a dispute over use of the game field between football, and girls lacrosse team. Girls had a game and wanted to warm up and football coaches did want to leave. The football coaches came down hard with some bad vulgar language and the girls lacrosse backed down. What a classy act BHS athletics has become.
    • The lawsuit requests a jury trial. Sable Winfree has extremely competent legal representation. FYI - her lawyer represented the Warren County school system for years, and I believe he knows what constitutes a reasonable lawsuit.
