In D2-A Lausanne, CPA, and ECS will all do well. Knox Webb returns a lot as well I believe.

Don’t let this guy fool you.... Boyd is gonna be a team to be reckoned with.  #31 scored a CRACKER against us last night!

I think AAA has quite a few strong teams this year, most being the usual suspects.  From west to east, at least Houston, Rossview, Station Camp, Hendersonville, Farragut, Bearden all should be very tough this season.

From east side of state non-AAA, I think Greeneville, Webb, and GP will all be very good in their divisions.  I know Alcoa lost some firepower, so not sure what they have back.

In A from Chattanooga, Signal Mountain and CSAS are both contenders. In AA it looks like Loudon has been playing some good soccer, but the AA favorite is Greeneville for sure.

Good early call reaction.  Chattanooga with 2 teams from one district headed into tomorrow’s final 4.  Both face stiff opposition tomorrow though.  And btw, I’ll echo the CSAS post:  take Franklin Grace over to play with you guys where they belong.

While Signal has the luxury of being one of the largest school’s in division A, it has no input on that decision.  There aren’t any easy games at this point.

Hoping we will get a 4th crack at Signal Mountain.  Games 1 and 3 were fantastic OT games with too many Patriots banged up during game 2 for us to give Signal our best.  Should be a great pair of semifinals to watch after some lopsided quarters. Could be a all district 5A final but I wouldn't put money on it. (But I  wouldn't bet against it either.) Should be a great clash between Bearden and Brentwood in AAA.

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
