Curious as to who they lost too?

Harriman, in OT. They must have missed 10 FTs in the 4th quarter. Any one of those would have sealed the deal for them..

And to brush on ol' King's comment about Johnson County, this is the best girls team I've ever seen from Mountain City, bar none. Probably the best one they've ever had. Ever. They'll surprise some people this year. Their press is pretty tenacious and they have a heck of a coach. They'll be a legit contender for District 1AA.

Meigs plays JC Monday in the first round of the Hardee’s classic, it sounds like it should be a good one.

South Greene 67 Cloudland 60 OT.
Cloudland led almost entire game.  All 5 starters for Cloudland fouled out.

Free throws attempted:

South Greene 52  Cloudland 23.
Reffing was actually bad both ways. You could tell it was their first game of the season too.

Thanks for the info, it sounds like this was a good game but probably took three hours, with that many fouls. Meigs will play SG in December.

I think Christman, Sahara, clawson, and turbyfill could contribute some quality minutes.  Those 4 stood out to me from what I've watched so far.

will these kids be good enough to replace kids that are playing now that will not have graduated if so this could be a really great team are these kids posts or guards and will any of them become starters as freshnen

With only one senior on this years team, none will start as a freshman.  I honestly only see one getting any meaningful minutes as a freshman.

They have schedules at the supermarket.  You should go watch them play a game.

    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
