Any idea who your fastest and most elusive return man is, and where he lines up on kickoffs?   We like to practice kicking directly to him, it is one of Boone's signature plays.....

That's what you get for stealing Graham Clarks play book after that famous McMinn Co. game.

It is amazing, last year at Science Hill we kicked it to their best return man 3 times in a row, the first one he smoked us for 6 and the others he brought out to midfield or better.   The Boone fans were screaming uncontrollably "DO  NOT  KICK  THE  !&*^%  BALL  TO  # whatever".    I was doing the ole face/palm, I mean we can't be that stupid by arbitrary chance can we???    I love our coaching staff, but how in the world could they possibly even remotely think it was a good idea to kick it to him over and over???

Uh-oh..... I keep hearing good things about South this year.    Was really hoping to win this opening game, but we could start the season 0-5 against (South, Greeneville, Tenn High, Elizabethton, DB).   Well if nothing else maybe South can bushwhack Greeneville or Elizabethton and throw the conference into a tailspin.....

I am really thinking it will be a very good game.  South, Daniel Boone , Volunteer, Science Hill and a Christian School all did 7 on 7 last week.  Boone and South did not play each other lol

    • While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.
    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
