Lady Cavs played without a key player tonight but did just enough to win 46-44 vs McMinn tonight.  It was one of the worst shooting performances I have seen in a long time but the Lady Cavs dominated every other statistical category to win.   Big week for the Lady Cavs coming up next week.  @White County on Tuesday and vs Stone @ Home on Friday.  Looking forward to some big time basketball next week.

I have seen you post that McMinn was not very good. So< I'm guessing Cookeville is not very good.

White County beat them by 6

East Hamilton beat them by 7

Cleveland beat them by 5

Rhea beat them by 2

I don’t talk bad about teams.    They played some  good teams close.  I wouldnt have said that.

Tomorrow night is round two of the best rivalry in the UC.  The Lady Cavs travel down Hwy 111 to face their arch nemesis, the White County Warriorettes.   Cookeville is looking it to make it 5 wins a row vs White County on Tuesday night.  But this game is more than just a rivalry.  This game means alot to both teams in the 6AAA standings.  Right now Stone has a commanding lead and there is a big fight for 2nd-4th.   Cookeville still has a shot at taking the top spot but they would need to win their remaining district games and they would need help from Warren County or White County vs Stone .  2nd-4th is still undecided and wide open.    BIG week for the Lady Cavs.   Come out to Sparta and watch a great game on Tuesday.   Even if WC has struggled lately, I expect them to be firing on all cylinders on Tuesday.   #BeatSparta

It will be up to AD and coaches according to school closure announcement.  Teams were practicing today as planned so I would say game is a go.
