Covington beat the Mustangs 4 scores to 2 in first team competition. Covington looked solid. Mustangs offense struggled. We've lost a lot of speed since last year and its showing. We are not as good of a team this year as last at this point.

We beat Covington in our scrimmage last year. Ensley is back and split time with our number 2. Our top running back and outstanding cornerback Brandon Lawton has a hamstring that worries me. We need him bad. 3 year starter.

I wasn’t to happy with our performance either. Our defense looked no different than it did last year at this time

Y’all’s QB is a heck of a athlete, he made a bunch of our guys miss him in the backfield. Y’all will be hard to beat this season for sure. Y’all have a outstanding facility!!
