No, Ensley is most definitely playing football this year as well. He has a legitimate chance of being drafted early next year so I’m sure he is showcasing those skills until school starts back.

Wasn't the Mustangs without the qb? That would explain alot of the offensive woes. I'm sure Northside had a very good defense with alot more depth than the Mustangs. Northside is a very good 4a team who could go deep in the playoffs. I'm sure this will make Huntingdon better in the long run.

Yes. Also 2 starting backs/corner and LB. There are kinks that have to be worked out, but that’s what these scrimmages are for. The backs that did play ran the ball hard. It’s good to play someone that will hit to remind you  that no one is just going to lay down.

You are exactly right. The first scrimmage is good for getting to hit someone other than teammates. Most first scrimmages the defense is way ahead of the offense.

I heard Cf qb hurt his knee. I hope it's not serious  because our backup is suspended for the first game.  We may have to run the wildcat in week one.
