I dont hate to say I told you so @vandyfan1 your Waverly Central Tigers are who I said they where hard nose physical team that would take time to gel but when they came together watch out !!!!!  I see

It's awfully easy to say anything you like before the game is played, like McEwen is better than Waverly at every skill position, or they have an underachieving senior line. Makes me think that y'all

Makes me happy that you are gauging us on the Huntingdon game. We're not the same team that we were then and I'm not saying we would beat them now so don't turn that around. I've yet to see any mcewen

To be honest McEwen is playing great. Simple offense that a blind man could coach against. You won’t see any negative crap about y’all from me on this game bud. Great game to bad you ain’t man enough to meet up. But any ways coaching lost this one for waverly. Great job warriors.

Defense was absolutely horrendous. Waverly looked flat entire game. Walking on the field. Walking off the field. Absolutely no discipline what so ever. Penalty after penalty. No discipline in reading keys and playing assignment football defensively. I am absolutely embarrassed for our team and our program. Waverly better wake up. We lost this game in the trenches. This game is on the coaches. Just being honest. 

Hats off to McEwen. They executed and deserved to win.  

Just some history. Waverly and McEwen have played twice in 40 years. Last win for McEwen was in 1969. 

Good for the program and the school. Congratulations. I’ll eat my crow. Enough said. I’ll go throw up now.

I was asking everyone for bail money if I speared the refs. I thought about it for a minute figured it wasn’t worth it with the coaching that went on! I sent you a message also are you like @Orangecountry and hide behind a keyboard also!

      Honestly the A.D. may be powerless at Maryville to some degree versus other schools. I know he has his hands full with GoFan and all the stupid surprises just from the emails he sends out during the season.

      Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
