Good game and we killed ourselves but still had a chance at the end. Looking forward to Powell Mercy ruling Ac next week most definitely tho!!!!!!

I text BVD last night and talked to him a little bit. If the reciever had held onto the ball at the end, yall very well could have won that game. It is what it is though.

People over analyzing the Powell game just because we lost. No different than 2011 loss @ MoWest

Exactly my point, no way Boone stays within 3 of Greeneville

The first game with Powell shouldn't be a metric for the whole season. Greeneville is still loaded..they just ran into another loaded team. Sure Greeneville maybe have taken a small step back when it comes to playing other top teams but against the rest of the schedule I feel it will be more of the same as previous years. The Boone win vs South was nice and a good motivator so this could be close for the first half. However I feel the experience and depth for Greeneville will eventually take over and this could turn ugly .

The South game was way closer than it looked.    South coughed it up twice inside their 5.

So far what I've got from this thread is that Greeneville lost to Powell but they didn't really lose even though that's what the scoreboard said, and that Boone won big over South but it was a lot closer than 30-6 even though that's what the scoreboard said.

Obviously you’re blind. Greeneville lost to another very good team in Powell. No reason for people to think the world is coming to an end. Greeneville lost end if discussion. 

The real prize is in Cookeville and thats where the devils will be for 3rd consecutive time.
