Greenback at Meigs County

I’m not ready to make a prediction on the game yet. That’ll come Friday. Couple questions for the game though:

Is GB weak on D? Seems so after giving up gobs of points (although I realize Loudon is good on O).

Can our DBs step up to the challenge? Swafford is the only proven DB right now. I have faith in them, but Friday is a monstrous challenge. 

Where will our kicking game come from? We were blessed last year with our one year rental. Kickers are essential.

I have no idea. I’m a Meigs fan, and my questions were from the point of view of a Meigs fan. Guess we’ll find out Friday.

Old Pirate says, Ifin there was much, coacht fellers would have heard more. It is obvious majority of attention was passing game. Rumor is WRs we’re involved in the running game? Cousin Lester wanting go see this feud since last weekend was a bust. Figure it to be a goodon!

I wasn’t going to post this week because last week left an awful dirty taste in my mouth. Regardless of the outcome this week, the one thing I’m looking for is the effort to pick WAY up. If you’re gonna be a good team, you must know how to fight back against adversity. Last week, GB quit. To win this game, we have got to come out ready to play and excel in the basics of the game: blocking and tackling and do it with intensity. There’s no such things as a nice football player. We had too many nice football players this past Friday.
