It ain't a Hampton thing...every team we've ever played had parents and players that should've been escorted out, if they weren't. That's why I set up as high as possible...You want to start something with me, you gotta come get it.

You’re a lot like me, lol, that’s why I gave you that pretty sweater vest! We like to watch it happen, might even be right next to it, but we never instigate it. BTW, I never tried to include you in the confrontation, just used your account of what happened.

All I know is after the handshake line was done, Hampton players were in their huddle out on the field with their coaches...but there were about 8 or so HV players and parents still on our sidelines going at it with a couple fans....didn't see anything that happened before I noticed that. If an adult touched a kid, we'll hear about it... but I don't see this guy doing such a thing

Sorta doubt the feller went out and started a fight, pretty calm feller. I'm sure the whole truth will eventually be told but if he assaulted a kid ,I'm sure he would be staring between the bars . They don't use the 1 2 3 system. I've never seen the guy get out of hand before and I've watched a bunch of games with him.

One of my few close friends for a long time...coached with him for more than a decade. Ex-Marine that wouldn't take crap from any man, but never seen him with attitude toward a kid much less touch one. Something more to the story. But somebody started something instead of just going on.... it'll come to light

By kickersdad's post, maybe he has insight as to what went down

I didn’t say anyone was arguing. The arguing comment was for anyone that wanted to try to argue that confronting a player was ok. You said the fan was removed from the field, therefore something happened that caused him to be removed and not the player (s). There’s no circumstance that would ever warrant an adult to confront a kid, period.

Pot stirrer!lol

    • Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
    • What does everyone have in the final 8? In no particular order. 1. Eagleville 2. Gordonsville 3. Greenback 4. Oakdale 5. South Pitt/ East Robertson-- not sure 6. Richland 7. Halls 8. Union City
    • They struggled to field a team last year. I don’t see them being much better?
    • sx good two know thay didun't waint that entarr citty two see yeller/red......
    • Couldn’t agree more.. Tate is a special kinda player , but fortunately for us we get a best of 3 series. I think our pitching is better than last year when we made the trip to west tn. Should be a fun 2 or 3 games.
