I believe I would take the under if I was a betting man. I swear though Pujo you may be right but 21 seems steep to me. I could see 14

Good thing I don't make a living setting betting odds. I'd starve to death. Under might be a good bet. Thinking 35,to 14.

Agree and they more than likely will, Greenback has played 2 very good teams. They can score on anyone. Oneida has always been a really good run stopping team and thats usually a good way to go. This one poses a challenge you don't see very often in small school football.

Most 1A teams when they have difficulty running the ball are in a heap of trouble. You won't see that in Greenback.  As a matter of fact they can and will throw it against anyone on their schedule with lots of success.

I don't think Oneida can match score for score with Greenback. The only way Oneida will hang around in this game will be to suck every bit of time off of each possession they have.

I'm not discounting Oneida by any means. If they can create some turnovers, get a couple calls to go their way then the game could get interesting.

I believe Coach Lambert will have to dial up his best defensive game plan in a very long time and his players will have to execute it perfectly.  If not Greenback could blow this one wide open.

My thoughts exactly.

Probably spot on ST. They are the most explosive team I've seen in a long time.

Yeti I have seen Oneida on film and there not a bad team at all but I think if they hold us to 21 points or less then they will win. Being honest I don’t think that will happen. Not bashing Oneida at all because like I said earlier they’re a good team. One thing GB needs to do is stop the run game of Oneida and force them to pass the ball.

    • The Girls Basketball team I am a part of played for a gold ball this season. One of the biggest differences in the sports is that there is no field prep/maintenance in basketball.   Our baseball is successful and play 30 games in the regular season as well. All of the teams dedicate A LOT of time in preparing for their next opponent.
    • “facts” or better yet ‘opinions’ had been up for weeks/months. that’s not why the thread was deleted. get over yourself.
    • Im pretty excited about the new rules that NFHS voted to adopt. Does anyone know if this will take place in Tennessee starting this year? I think I heard/read somewhere that the TSSAA bi-laws say they have to mirror what the NFHS does, and when the NFHS offered the current weight classes as options, TSSAA didn’t adopt them until NFHS made them official. Did NFHS make these changes official starting next season or will it be similar to the weight classes where TSSAA doesn’t change what they are doing until it is  an officially official part of the NFHS rule book? It’ll be interesting to see if it is rolled out for the new TSSAA Middle School season and I saw a post where the youth wrestling in TN was going to vote on adopting it as well.  I’ll pray for all the youth coaches that will have to shoulder the confusion from all those crazy #### parents who already think they know the rules more than everyone else  . Imagine the first time their kid is taken down and a 3 goes up on the scoreboard or their kid gets pinned with only one point of contact in the cylinder. Their heads might explode. i kid, I kid. Sort of. I’m surprised ride time was brought down with all the other changes. I know some argue that it promotes stalling on top, but its been an official scoring method in college forever, so I figure it must be doing something right. Do any of you think that’ll ever be implemented?
    • Crazy how the thread just gets deleted when facts come out.
    • I understand I guess it depends on the school you are with and the time you want to put in.  It’s evident of the schools that don’t put in as much times.  I would say basketball players put in as much time as any sport in our school system and this is coming from a football town.  Bball is a longer season than other sports.
