Marion County & Two High Schools

Old Pirate says this is a poll to support Two High Schools. This option includes: 1. the expansion of Whitwell to accommodate those in the northern Jasper & 2. the expansion of SP High School to accommodate the Southern Jasper students. 3. Convert high school in Jasper to middle school & adult high school. There are a large amount of money saved with this proposal. Feel free to cast vote on this thread. Results will be calculated and presented to commissioners & school. I'm all for that and it would make sense, but we live in a society today where people don't like that.  That would take care of those living on the northern line and the southern line so no one would have to get up before the rooster's do to catch a bus. But, you know, I have been hearing this for over 35 year's now, so I want be around probally to see if it happen's.

Appreciate comments, so you vote YES. This proposal looks to address transportation problems and the excessive tax rate increases.

Where's the option to keep it as it is? 

Although 2 is definitely better than 1.

This was a plan as a last resort should Jasper people ever get consolidation through.  It eliminates their conflict of interest on location and naming.
