Meigs County vs McMinn Central

Homecoming game for the Tigers. Davis’ first shot at beating Meigs as the HC at McMinn Central. Chargers coming off a big loss at the hands of Red Bank. Meigs fresh off a romp in Rockwood. There’s not been a lot of suspense in this one for a few years.

Side note, the middle school programs for these teams will play Thursday at Meigs for first place in the league.

Davis will have a good game plan for us. Will be interesting to see how his kids respond to the thrashing they took last night. I’d say he will have them juiced and ready. 

We’ve got to avoid another slow start and not let all the Homecoming stuff distract us. 

It’s homecoming week, pig roast week, and Central week!

Meigs by a mile and then some. Central played Tellico to a 1 point ball game. For context, 1A Copper Basin beat Tellico by 12 and didn’t allow a point until the 8th graders hit the grass.

Maybe not next year either, they have about 22 Seniors and 40 or 45 kids. ijs
