Centrals defense has looked pretty weak so far! Could be a big day for the Cougar offense.

When you give up 165 points in last 3 games it's hard to make a case against that point. Now, how many of those points came off turnovers and special teams could be an argument. Regardless giving up an average of 55 points regardless who you are playing is a lot. Albeit by the numbers, they improved each game.

Has Copper Basin beaten a .500 or better team this season?  At a glance it looks like they have benefited from a fairly easy schedule.

Fair point, they have had a pretty easy schedule to this point. Like I said before y’all have a tough last few games, that the Cougars would have probably lost as well. Polk County has a very weak offense and the Chargers allowed 25 points against them. Either way the game this week should be a good one. Going with my Cougars for the win!

Tellico is 3-4, two of those wins being Sequoyah and Polk so take that for what it’s worth.

Going for Basin in this one.  The more wins we each have, the better the atmosphere will be in Copper Hill for the last week of the regular season.  I think the Davis Chargers may pull it out though.  I may change my mind by Friday though.

It will be a close one.

It should be a very good atmosphere for when the Pirates and Cougars fight it out!

Couldn't agree more. Even if they lose to Basin they can still make the playoffs by beating Signal and Brainerd.  But beating Basin and going into playoffs 5-5 would look and feel much better.

If Central loses this game it will be really tough to beat Signal, I would say they are better than Copper Basin, they played Red Bank and Loudon pretty close, I think Central will beat Brainerd.

You are correct. If Central loses the next two I don't know if the motivation will be there for the Brainerd game.  This Basin game will tell a lot as far as improvement and motivation.

Wonder about CB's line play on both sides of the ball??

The line is very young, we’ve only got one senior on the offensive line and one senior on the defensive line. Two Freshman start on both the offensive and defensive line. They have looked solid to be so young!
