Youngblood powering & running over the defenders up the middle to the end zone.

Gudger and the afterburners down the sidelines to the end zone.

Albright catching pass over the middle to the end zone.

Izzi catching pass in the corner of the end zone.

Greg on the sneak up the middle behind Younblood to the end zone

Cyclones will depend on the pass too much and their run game will be stuck in reverse.

Greene’s Defense - Too much pressure for Betsy Qb and a lot of stops behind the line of scrimmage.

Betsy  Defense -  Can’t stop Youngblood and catch Gudger, Albright, Stewart, Izzi

Dont forget speedy Jaden Stepheson

If this were the case then the cyclones need not apply lol. I believe Betsy has a chance. It's not cut and dry yet...yet I say. Greeneville shows more weakness a few notches from last year. Betsy does have a spitting chance...the issue with Greeneville is in closer games/teams it could come down to penalities and Greeneville has had there share and this alone could beat Greeneville. Who knows..This is why we play the game....Friday Night

Betsy has had their issues as well.

This will be a great game. Greeneville has improved as the year has progressed. Betsy is the best team G'ville will have played this year. I am going with the Cyclones in a close game, 24-21. I think it will be the first of 2 games between these 2 teams.

I'm sure Powell would have something to say about that with them being ranked third in 5a and still undefeated too.

Powell is the best team that Greene has played.

    • Playing high school sports is a privilege not a right.  The college did not have to rescind the scholarship.  Scholarship offers are pulled all the time for a number of reasons. That was 100% their choice.  A coach can keep, cut, or dismiss any player that they want to without reason anytime they want.  Is that the right way to run a program?? I don't think that it is, but these are the facts of the matter. This case has absolutely 0% chance of going in the plaintiff's favor. Futhermore, I'd imagine that these administrators and the coach are a part of some teaching or coaching organization that will cover at least 1 million dollars each in legal fees. Obviously the kid and her family feel like there were "damages" thus the lawsuit.  Unfortunately, the law is not on their side in this case.
    • Maryville will recapture the loses from last year against West, Bradley and Farragut. The Bearden game will be the tough one but I look for the wheels to come off that ride somewhere down the road because of all the crap that goes on there. I know to many parents there and some of the things I've been told and some of the post a few of them have made on facebook. They all can't be liars.
    • If Heritage moves down and Alcoa moves up the best thing for Heritage is to do what William Blount did when theystopped playing Maryville or meet certain defeat. Honestly can't see Alcoa not moving up the way the county is growing. Might be in the Mountaineers best interest to stay in 5A because none of those teams on their schedule are anything close to Alcoa.
    • I say over as well. Barney, regarding the move to 4A, will the cross-town blowhards move up as well??
