I’ve been back on here and spoken little one. Like I’ve said all is not lost and our goal is still there. Looking forward to going to Ac beating them and back to Betsy Town to finish what we started. 

I remember in 2007 we knocked off Sullivan South 24-21 on a fg at the end. Only to get destroyed 41-14 in the Quarter Finals. 

We will get back to work and fix some stuff and come playoff time the machine will get rolling once again. Theirs a reason Greeneville has 4 Gold Balls & a Silver Ball in the trophy case the last 10 years & Betsy doesn't.

I need you to go back and respond to an earlier post I put up.You will love it.  Like Lawnman said don't worry our gold balls are coming. We will put them beside our Band and Girls Basketball trophies.

Nice trying to poke. But I’d be-careful because betsy hasn’t done anything yet. Enjoy the win but remember Greeneville still has a chance to win a 3 peat and leave the cows and clones at home.

Who knows if either team will get to round 3. If greeneville does not get better play calling and/or coaching no way they have a 3 peat. Elizabethton has home field so they have it all in front of them but who knows in november could be real cold or rainy and one team is just bad that night.

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
