My understanding is that if DB beats SH, J Fred will host every game until Maryville takes the field there and beats DB. So, I think I've answered a couple of questions here. He does this all the time. Maryville and Oakland are in another world compared to the rest of 6A. If you get within a couple touchdowns of either team you'd have bragging rights. JDHoss
I haven't seen either team since the opening two weeks, as we are back in Florida until the holidays, but based on what I saw then, I'll go with the Tribe by 2+ TD. Obviously, the litmus test will be next week vs Alcoa. Regardless, hats off to the coaching staff and players for what they've done.

sharetheball
DB gives up more penalty yards each game than does their defense.if they quit hitting out of bounds and stop the mouthy trash talk after the whistle they could cut penalties in half. I watched the fourth quarter of Maryville and Alcoa play and Maryville never threw the ball. It was an all ground game. Don’t know if DB can keep from killing their gains with blocks in the back and holds but I’m hoping . These boys have been playing each other for years. I’m anxious to see see a clean hard played contest. Let’s represent Region 1 Big 7 conference with pride and character.

I doubt that any player even knows about it. That was, what, 11 years ago. They would have been under 10 years old. But they should show the team hilites at least. But I was there. The MOST ridiculous, humiliating game I had seen up to that point. That was when I really went off the rails and started to realize that the coaching staff was in the process of derailing. It was down hill every year since then - possibly until this year. We'll see how they do against Alcoa and get a good measure of that for the 1st time this year. But I do expect Alcoa to have their hands full this year, Question. What game was it where DB was backed up in the end zone, last play of the game, and coach had them tackle every player of the opposing team, 2 players left standing and our player tried to make a run down the field. Can't remember what playoff game that was but it was a home game and it was humiliating that they had to stoop to that. One of the few times I booed the coaching staff.
