I thought the game would have been a 28 24 type game.  But as time has gone by we see how great those defenses are.  Maryville held  Bradley to 7 points and 150yds. Maryville held Mcminn to less than 100 yds offense. Farragut scored 24 but Maryville had Seth Orren and Matt Brooks out. Those guys being out hurt way more than Tee being out. Matt Brooks is the most underrated player in the state

What Alcoa has done is amazing.  31 points all year long. In my opinion the strength of that defense is the secondary.

I thought the game would be a one score game either way this year. I never would have predicated or expected the score to be what it was.

Exactly what I was thinking. No slight to the Rebel defense. I don’t think they could have played any better. Holding Alcoa to 3 was an amazing accomplishment.

Still not a huge fan of the 3-4, but it has gotten us this far, so difficult to complain too much. The staff has put in some new formations that should be fun to watch moving forward. We shall see!

It's only two PC posters on coach t. So which one us said anything about overlooking any team? We don't care about region 7, we play Giles Friday that's who we're focused on!!!

Well when I said you can't overlook whoever comes out of region 7 you laughed.. So I took that as you already figured youd blow by them

Austin East will be going 5 A with the rest of Knoxville. GP will be dropping to 2 A as they are getting close think they like 45 kids over.

That’ll be interesting , Coach reaches out to a lot of 5A teams this year and all declined to play them .

And he was cut loose this spring from Scotts Hill. Heard him in a interview a few month back and he inspired me. He needs to be back home in the Purple & Gold, regardless of if he is HC or not or even if he doesnt coach at all, his presences will improve the environment. But Again, I have no clue if he would even be interested.

Not much shot to win a state title at Macon but could very well be a contender with the talent coming up through the peewee and junior high ranks in TC I hear. He my dark horse candidate. trousdale co fans could also brag to their neighbors that they talked their best coach into coming to TC on a year of such high expectations at Macon co.
