They need to take more shots down field

Alcoa is absolutely loaded with athletes and it takes time to set back there and throw down field.I can't complain about 7-3 at the half.DB has held it's own nomatter how this games unfolds.Like I said before,we really don't know how the coaches will finish this one.Id hate to lose an important player deep into this game .

DB is unbearable to watch.  Their coach is apparently milking the clock every play.  That's cute and all, but play some dang football!

Just from what I'm seeing ,DB is doing exactly what they have to in order to stay in the game.If they come out and try to throw it all over the field, they will punt 5+ times in the 2nd half and get beat by 24+.

Great job by the Indians or whoever they are.Lets not get anything confused.I know Alcoa and Maryville for that matter are good teams. And I do have respect for both programs. Its just like some of the DB fans and other fanbases. Some get on here and puts down everyone and its good to be proud of your program. But dogging programs are uncalled for in high school. But that's what I think.

That could happen. But DB completing passes down field could happen too.Just sayin

    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
