Mckenzie Vs. Adamsville

Final game of the regular season for high school football. Mckenzie takes on the Adamsville Cardinals! From what I know if Mckenzie pulls out a win they will have home field advantage and most likely play Memphis Mitchell and of Adamsville wins Mckenzie will have to travel to Memphis Fairley. If they win they will finish 3rd in the region and go on to 5&5 on the season.

I believe if UC beats Halls and Peabody beats Gibson Co these two teams are playing for 3rd place. So you could be traveling to Memphis for the first round.

Yes, If Trenton Wins and Union City wins, both Union City and Trenton will host first rounds as they will finish 1st and 2nd place.  Those who finish 3rd and 4th place will travel to somewhere in Memphis.  Then if all 4 teams from our region wins, Trenton and Union City will both host once again since they are or could be the top seeds in our region.  I believe this correct.

Sorry thanks for clarifying that. That’s just what Jim Steele has said on his live show on Facebook. But either way I’m glad to see Mckenzie in the playoffs again.

My son Gage says he’s ready! Hope we can pull off a win Friday and go deep into the playoffs. They just have to come out with the mindset that they’re going to win and no one will stop them or get in there way. It’s going to be a big challenge but them Rebs are up for it and won’t go down without a fight. Wade Comer will have those boys ready!!!

I stand corrected. If Halls wins and we win we finished second in the region according to the TSSAA.

Haven't seen McKenzie this year but I know Adamsville is the real deal - early losses notwithstanding. I'm going with the Red Rage in this one. They have a superfine defense that will help them out a lot this time of the year.

With everything we are facing down here i hope our boys can get refocused.  A lot of them are still dealing with power issues from the nadercane that rolled through with 80mph winds.  Football has been secondary this weekend.  That Said we are going to come ready to make a statement.
