I was at the game. You can take it for what it’s worth. Whatever floats your boat. Offensive starters were in the game 2 drives into the 3rd quarter. Defensive starters were pulled mid-way through the 2nd quarter. From the middle of the 3rd quarter on was backups on both sides of the ball. And yes our backups did throw the ball because yunno.... we ARE a throwing offense. The back ups scored 1 TD when they were in. The score when the starters were pulled 2 drives into the 3rd quarter was 59-0. And no we weren’t throwing bombs.. every pass was a slip screen for a TD. We’re not going to venture away from what we do as an offense. If beating someone by 50 hurts your feelings, maybe move to New York where it’s frowned upon. This shouldn’t even deserve an explanation. I guess we’re sorry for not beating a bad team by less than 50...

You're right about everything but the defense.  I just looked at the film to confirm and the 1st string D came out in the 1st qtr.  The 2's came in for the last series of the 1st qtr.
