If LC is going to score 38 points on us, they’ll have to be able to sling the ball around a little. I know they are capable of doing that, but they’ll have to be efficient doing it.

Really and truly, just throwing some numbers out there. Like the kees with most of the posters on here, but like I stated earlier, gotta go with LC in a close one. The seniors and juniors for the kees have been here before, but this LC team is on an apparent mission this season. Much respect for both teams.

The thing that kinda worries me this week is that we just played one the most intense and emotional games I have ever watched. Will our guys come out with that same intensity? Sometimes when a team is involved in a game of that caliber, the next week could see a let off. Considering this is the state championship game, I’m sure every ounce of effort will be there but will we be on edge? Will we be as focused? Hopefully but we’ll see.

Good post. I feel like this exact thing may have been part of the problem in 17 when we faced you guys(Not all of it). The week before playing a tough physical game winning 7-0 in a game that could have possibly went to OT 0-0.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
