Alot of that depends on how your 9th and 10th grades did in 7th and 8th grade football I have found. Let me know how they did if you know. Need that and a 4.4 deer lol on our end we have been fortunate to have very good talent not only in 7th and 8th grade but our 9th and 10th graders did really well also I was told. I wish I knew someone who would have that info. It's fun to talk about. Our 7th and 8th graders had a 56-12 lead at the half during their first middle school team this year in the championship against McMinn Central. Final was 62-18 I believe it was. I could be wrong on that final but we try not to run up the score. Meigs will be Competitive for a long time. No clue on how far in playoffs we will go but we should definitely have teams that make the playoffs and make a little noise the next few years. GeneralForrest
from what i hear the youth coaching has taken a big dive of late. dads basically play and coach their kids/use practices for scrimmaging, and the teams dont get any hands on instruction. its been several years since i saw any of the youth teams play though. Both years only losses were to Fayetteville. Freshmen: loss 3-4 didn't make playoffs; 8th grade: lost 3-4 didn't make playoffs. Key players from 10th and 11th class no longer play. I go see 2-3 middle school games a year and there has been wasted talent the last 2 seasons.
