I'm not a Democrat, much less a socialist.   I just don't approve of the man in the Oval office.  Then again,  he's only a man.

Best they had to offer at the time at the very least. I also feel it will be the same this year. But I feel like hes done a pretty good job considering what accusations has been thrown his way over the years and then proven false. Dems wont leave him alone and let him do his job though. Not sure we will see another Reagan in our time.

Not by much if any.  1st off she clearly didn't have much.  Plus, they don't necessarily like Bernie Sandals.  They are more likely to go to Tulsi.

Sailor,  this thread can be what ever we want it to be.  That's why I titled it This That and the Other.

My opinion:  I think the Democrats did what the Republicans couldn't or wouldn't do back in 2016.  And that is for the field of candidates to exit and allow someone to take on the radical side of the party.  Dems don't want Bernie taking over the party the way Trump has the Republicans.

What we have now that we didn't have in 2016 IS 2016 to look back on.

I mostly like the man as he seems to calls it like it is....Everything they try and pin on him comes back to something they (dems & repubs) are guilty as heck of...They are all dirty and don't want their pig pen messed with.

Now, being a Christian first and a conservative, not so much a "party" member, there are many things to dislike but at least he's not selling out and burying this country and apologizing for us like we've seen go on for decades.

I thank God we didn't end up with a Bush, or Kasich!  Or another Romney running against the H-BEAST.

He's the first prez to make a real stand for moral issues like "life" BUT, there is one thing that just totally blew my mind the other day...With this new China trade deal, I learned we are now exporting chicken again to China for them to process and SEND BACK TO US!    I'm fine with exporting to them, but they can keep it once they receive it! It's things like that that I just can't grasp. Anyways, no more Tyson chicken for me! Guess we'll have to start raising our own, again.

Well! The NCAA men's basketball tournament being played without any fans allowed due to coronavirus....Some states not allowing large gathering....State of emergencies being called due to one or two people testing positive. Does this seem to be getting crazy to anyone else considering the fact no such actions have ever been taken due to the flu? Seem possible that our libs with help from other world powers could well be using this avenue to destroy our economy and regain control next election?

You've read the Bible.  You know what's in store for the inhabitants of Mother Earth.

Yep. Paul says in 2nd Thessalonians 1 that the Lord shall be revealed from heaven, coming back with His mighty angels, in flaming fire, taking vengeance on them that know not God and have obeyed not the gospel of Jesus Christ....This place gets smoked and we'd better be ready to go.

Yes sir.

I was trying to hit on the fact that pestilence and diseases are part of this world.  I'm not saying you are, but I don't want to downplay this novel virus known as COVID19.

We all have differences from one another.  Some more than others.  Some that really divide us.  But there's one thing that ties us all together and that is economics.   Folks have got to be able to eat and drink.  You know as well as I do that it's coming to a point where if you don't receive the mark you won't be able to buy sell or trade.

I'm not blowing a panic trumpet or aiming to preach from my soapbox, but these things are among us for a reason.  And that reason is sin.   They will only continue to worsen.

COVID19 is the 19th different coronavirus in as many years. There will always be diseases and viruses that can take out a few people to nations of people....same true with natural disasters....All such has happened for 1000's of years and was seen in John's letter to the 7 churches in Asia, 2000 years ago, known as Revelation. I'll just pray the Lord will lead us in finding a cure.

There will be others after this incarnation, and somewhere down the line one will be much worse. There are strains already known with mortality rates approaching 50%... the "catch" is that most mutations either aren't very contagious, aren't very severe, or both. With the worlds population and rate of intercontinental travel that has never before been dreamed of, sooner or later it'll happen. No use in undue worry because it is in prophecy; wars and rumors of war... incurable disease... it will come to pass just as everything else in scripture already has, or someday will. Good news is, there's already a cure! It's free, it's permanent, and the one administering the cure will come to you wherever you are at the asking. I'm not planning on tempting fate, but I will live my life as best as I can without undue fear.

It's great to know people still pray and believe so.   While you're at it, pray for my daughter who is in the Navy stationed in Italy where the virus has shut that country down.  Pray also for my oldest daughter who resides and works in New York.  And pray for my youngest daughter who works with the elderly in the health care industry.

    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
