Vic was there but not HBC in the 90's stretch or did I dream that? My blip thought was a time when a Grider was not in the program. I'm pretty sure one of (or more) y'all on here were on the 94 team.

Danny Wilson took over when Don Grider retired. Vic was the DC during that time frame (1993-1996). Vic took over in '97 and has coached all but 2 years (2013-2014). During that time Heath Grider stepped away as an assistant as well meaning that for the first time since 1961 that there wasn't a Grider on the field.

Thank you! I have been trying to get my head around that all day. I could not remember Wilson's name to save my life, as soon as I saw it, it all came back.

LRDAO.. You must be the lead orchestrater for that Tygard man.  I garuntee you I aint falling for your mess. You think im joking but im not.

Roy -

To quote an old song "you may be wrong, but you may be right" or maybe it was the "it may just be a lunatic your looking for" line I'm thinking about. Either way - you are the king orchestrater for the skillets, it will take years, yea even decades to ascend to your level of orchestration.

But do me a favor and go to Harvey's this weekend and have a burger for me. Then make me jealous by telling me how good it was.

Coach Wilson is a good guy. He was a good principal/teacher/coach while at SP. I enjoyed talking football with him at Greenback this past year.

    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
