William Blount made Betsy play a full game. I believe there was a 14 point swing with a pick 6 late in the WB/Betsy game. I've got a little cousin on the Betsy team, but Alcoa rolls them.

congrats. Hopefully all of our Football players will be back on the team and playing by next week after taking some time off from football. Maybe Upperman and Alcoa will meet in the playoffs.

You know half of Alcoa's basketball team was missing, cause they got past the third round of the playoffs! :roflolk:

Oh, by the way, that 56-0 beatdown of Loudon in the fourth round would have been even worse had the honey bees been half as good as their coacht fans thought they where and made it that far.HA!

Alcoa would had topped 75 points and no way give up 18 points this year!!

I can’t argue this point. I would have to agree with you. Alcoa is the King in 3A football this year and most every other year. It should be a good game when these two meet up again when Alcoa visits Upperman in a few weeks!

Please leave my Redskins out of this. Watching the game was bad enough. Seeing it everywhere we turn around just makes it worse. lol

Good crowd for that game. It was a really neat atmosphere having you guys at Alcoa. Looked like most of the town was there.

Great that you guys supported you team like that. Loudon had a good team this year and a season to remember for those kids.

      Yes in the regular season. But once Westview's young kids got the experience from the season, they only lost to Dyersburg by a field goal in the playoffs. Westview was young last year. They will be tough this year

      That is absolutely not the truth.  Few if any college coaches or school administrators want to be in the middle of legal proceedings if there is any way possible to avoid being caught in the middle.  With that being said I have two questions: 1.  Why would a coach remove any player from the team for using the F WORD?  Yes, I fully understand the player must be held accountable for her actions.  Maybe extra running and even a one game suspension but if every kid or coach that used improper language was kicked on the team or fired, they would have no players or coaches available to play the games. 2.  If there was truly another player or coach that witnessed this situation, and they agree with the player then by all means the coach should be held accountable for their actions.

      Assistant football staff still the same? Any replacement for Brian Beaubien? Who will be the DC? Will there be anything going on this spring with football? I go watch practice often.
