Listening to the coach getting interviewed, I want to say TCA had a double bye and plays the 25th or so I could be wrong. But sounded like they had about 10 days off. He said USJ would possibly play Northpoint second round if I am not mistaken. Wonder who TCA will get?

TCA plays Tuesday night.

Looks like TCA, Harding, Tipton-Rosemark, USJ and Northpoint are the favorites to come out of West Region.  Region tournament heats up tonight with 1st round games.

it appears CPA, Clarksville Academy, Nashville Christian and Goodpasture are favorites in the middle Region.

Still haven’t heard much from Eastern Region. Anyone have any thoughts?  It appears Kings Academy has done pretty well this year. Lakeway isn’t eligible or they would certainly be in the conversation.

Lakeway shows to be playing in a game. Why are they play playing if they are not eligible?

District 1 tourney results (Knoxville area):

1. The King’s Academy (TKA)

2. Webb School of Knoxville

3. Christian Academy of Knoxville (CAK)

4. Grace Christian Academy - Knoxville (GCA)

District 2 Tourney results (Chattanooga area):

1. Silverdale Baptist Academy (SBA)

2. Notre Dame

3. Grace Baptist Academy - Chattanooga

4. Collegedale Academy

Realistically, the top 3 teams are probably TKA, SBA & Notre Dame (in that order).
I would not expect the others to make a run, although Webb has a great coach & program.

Looks like the West is set:  TCA vs USJ

                                                 TRA vs Harding.

Looks like Middle is down to Goodpasture, Nashville Christian, CPA and Clarksville Academy.

Other than Silverdale and Kings Academy I’m not sure about East.

We are down to 12.  The West will have two battles going on Friday night.  Good luck to all!

Is the USJ TCA game a loser leave town? Heard the Northpoint USJ game was. I can’t keep up with it and how it works. I heard Goodpasture might have got a good post hurt early but they are still good I bet.

No.  Loser will play in consolidation of Region championship on Sat and then move on to substate.  I’ve struggled with the new DII format as well after DI for years.

    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
    • They do have good community support for sure and did when I coached under Z for 4 years. (I was on that staff that turned them around a little from winning 1 game a year to actually being competitive).  Great Kids and Great Community over there.  They have done some good things with the facilities from when i coached too.
    • I personally will not mind that one bit.  It seems like a really strange fit to me from the git go.
