Just how big a boy are ya. Lol.

This is a shocker to me.  Sounds like an extremely poor display of hospitality.  I'm surprised TSSAA hasn't fielded a ton of complaints if a team actually ropes off a small section in their rafters for their visitors.

They don’t rope off a section in the upper seating. That’s open seating and I doubt they can rope off any seats in a substate game but they will be there before anyone else and fill the gym. Small town with a large following. Unless you’re a Clarkrange fan or a parent this game won’t be fun to watch. Clarkrange is way too good this year to lose at home in a substate game.

I'm very surprised they are allowed to host. Gym might hold 700. And yes the gym is already full by the time it is said to open. Students with their toes on the line even when a player is trying to inbound. By far the worst I've ever been treated. But it wont happen this year. They can call it home court all they want but what it is, is the other team being very uncomfortable because of the facilities. Get pissed if you want but it is what it is. Very poor display of hospitality.

Same team as last year that the Raiderettes hung in there with til late in 4th. And these girls were mainly freshman last year. Definitely will get out coached. Rogers is pretty good.

    • Never said I thought it was a smart decision. I'm scratching my head at it too.
    • If he wanted to play QB he should have either went to Heritage or William Blount and had a real good chance there. In stead he'll be exactly what he was going to be at Maryville. They already know who their QB is going to be in 2025 and it ain't going to be him.
    • Easier said than done. The man who ran for 250+ yards and 3TDs is gonna be back….and a lot bigger.
    • plus it removes the pressure around winning.
    • You are correct.   The teacher's pay scale is virtually the same in Knox County, now, as it is at Oak Ridge.   The coaching supplements are still higher at Oak Ridge, from what I was told, but not a huge difference.   Plus, Rusty is going from a position coach to an OC position, which is what he was at South Doyle and where his comfort zone is.  And from a special education teaching slot to a PE teaching slot.  There is a lot of positivity in that move without even considering the coaching aspect.   Anybody who sees something negative here is just looking for negativity to begin with.  But some live in that world.   Really good hire for Brent.  He now has two experienced and quality coordinators and can concentrate on being a head football coach.
