I told you that I believed HV was rebuilding this year. I know Oak Ridge is good though so maybe HV just had a bad night.

HVA doesn't appear to be very good but OR is vastly improved. Is AC that good, or is Clinton not very good, or did Clinton just have a bad night?

Just my two cents, but Clinton is not very good. HVA may not win a game until mid-October.

I think we're gonna learn a lot about OR and AC this week.

Clinton didn't look good at all to me, but maybe AC had alot to do with that.

I think both are probably true, Dragon. Clinton is going to get better, but that first year under a new HC is always tough, plus you've got all of the preseason difficulties related to COVID protocols and whatnot.

HVA was not good.  Sure was fun to be at a football game though.  Here's to 1 week at a time.

We will know more about what we have this Friday night.  Last years DB game was just a bad night all the way around for OR. I'm sure last years score will motivate our guys this week.

One thing for sure we do have back again. Breakaway Speed!  Looks like an OR team again.

Clinton almost looked like a team in a scrimmage trying out different things just to see what needs work. It was very hard to watch as a dragon fan, but I'm positive that our coaching staff will do whatever it takes to make this team better.

Come on Willie! Don't leave us. You know we are giving you a hard time and I'm certain the Hammer knows this is all fun and games. So, don't leave!

    • That is absolutely not the truth.  Few if any college coaches or school administrators want to be in the middle of legal proceedings if there is any way possible to avoid being caught in the middle.  With that being said I have two questions: 1.  Why would a coach remove any player from the team for using the F WORD?  Yes, I fully understand the player must be held accountable for her actions.  Maybe extra running and even a one game suspension but if every kid or coach that used improper language was kicked on the team or fired, they would have no players or coaches available to play the games. 2.  If there was truly another player or coach that witnessed this situation, and they agree with the player then by all means the coach should be held accountable for their actions.
    • 1st round exit?        For real ?!?!?!                     Oh wait.....    are we talking band or football?
    • Assistant football staff still the same? Any replacement for Brian Beaubien? Who will be the DC? Will there be anything going on this spring with football? I go watch practice often.
    • Their feeder programs are in the best shape they've ever been.
    • The definition of what happened to the ex-coach is ambiguous. The school said they were going in a different direction and thanked her for her service as coach. Apparently, coaches in Warren County operate on one-year agreements of some type. Rumors are that she was asked to resign, and refused. Whatever happened, it appears that the school system did not renew the one-year agreement with the ex-coach to come back for another season. One and done tenure as coach. Stotts has been a guidance counselor at the high school in Warren County. Several years ago, the former girls coach who is now an AD and assistant principal dismissed Stotts from his staff on the first day of the season. That reality made the hiring of Stotts a mystery to many people in Warren County.
