I believe it could go either way and my prediction is not going to be popular.

WC by a TD.

Well they beat us what 37-0 last year;, so no that is a reasonable pick, they should be favored even at our place...

There are a couple things I am encouraged by as a Spfd fan however, one...we should be more familiar with them as a team, two and more importantly, we have a better idea of what kind of team we are compared to last year, last year we were literally replacing 4,000 yards of offense from the previous team so we had no idea what we were...

Having said that, most of us Jackets fans understand we could play much better this time around and still lose. I am leaning Jackets because we are tough to beat at home, lost 2 games there in the 3 years we have had the field to include no playoff losses, somebody correct me if I am wrong please...

Jackets up 14-3 with a few minutes left in the 1st half...

2 things, Springfield's line is looking really good, AND our QB has put tons of work in throwing the ball as he is much improved, not bad for a 1st outing so far, hopefully they can keep it.

Also, another quick note, considering we had to replace 3 LBs (2 all region) we are playing pretty well at that spot...

    • Sorry Barn. I wasn’t specific enough. It seems I’m always protecting the principal at 825. My interactions with her have been extremely positive, but very limited. With all the other stories being told, I’m confident there are other sides I am not aware of. Regardless, there are lots of decent people earning good checks up there. Maybe too good, which explains why no one is willing to speak up. My beef is with the poor communication among the athletic programs and with the administration. Seven years ago the poor communication led to my son missing graduation due to a sporting event that was planned months before. I chalked it up to the system being totally shocked that the baseball team made it out of their district, and our then AD was a football coach. Maybe they were surprised and did not plan appropriately. That was more palatable than they just didn’t give a crap. Déjà vu, seven years later, same thing. Different administration, but same result.  Maybe in seven more years, it will actually be “about the kids”. They should do better.
