This one should be a tune up week for the cougars. Clear up mistakes from last week, stay focused and sharpen up on everything. Good opportunity to give some new plays or formations a test run.    This one will get ugly in a hurry as long as the boys stay focused and don’t overlook this bunch. Handle business, stay healthy and get to 2-0. Cougars by as many as they want!

I think the Cougars put on the scoreboard whatever they want and it should be fun to see what the new rb does along with the receivers Dawson Worthy and Timothy Jabaley do. FYI CB looked like a completely different team against polk should be a fun year.

I agree, as a whole much more physical than last year! That was a fun game to watch and I’m looking forward to this week! Georgia Force had a pretty good running back last year from what I’ve gathered... I wonder what they will have to offer this year?

I'm glad to see excitement coming back to Copperhill.   There was a time when we played that it would determine who went to the playoffs and who didn't.  The cougars were tough back then.

I was apart of the last Basin team to beat South Pitt!! I’m hoping that we can be competitive against the Pirates last week of the season!

I think the score of this game depends a lot on what GFC returns and how we approach them. Last year they put up 27 on Robbinsville (NC State Champion). The state runner-up only scored once.

I think this game can get out of hand for the Cougs if they take them seriously and give them a little respect during preparation. Otherwise, I could see it being a one to two score game, likely still a victory.

I was really impressed with the team Friday night. They won in a Basin fashion for the first time in a long time. There's no reason this team shouldn't get two shots at SP.
