Good question. I don't know. As long as it takes. We are still learning about this thing . Medicine has recently come close with some viable options that seem to be effective. However, in urban communities, it is wrecking havoc. Memphis has been hit pretty hard. It just might not be prudent to.play the games at this juncture. An outbreak due to exposure has the potential to be catastrophic. 

Heck, the adults don't want to follow proper protocols. Don't expect the teenagers to be in more compliance.

Mental health experts are issuing warnings left and right to closely monitor school aged children for symptoms of depression and suicidal tendencies brought about by lack of contact and structure not provided them because of school closures for extended periods. Logic says that school is "dangerous" because of close proximity... logic also says that the lack of school is also dangerous.

The elephant in the room! This is very political! Republicans and Democrats see this virus in a totally different perspective. Some real deal research has been abandoned in this matter. The numbers.

I hate it for any of the kids that miss out on many great memories.

Bernard Childress has placed the ball squarely back in Dr. Ray's court, and backed him into a very small corner at the same time. I'm sure that he thought that TSSAA would "negotiate" some of his concerns and concede some points, but 'Ol Chilly verbally punched him in the mouth with a very direct and dismissive reply. I Expect Dr. Ray to take the exit route that allows him the least amount of scrutiny as he tries to slink away with his tail tucked, and that may be to cancel all sports...stay tuned.
