TC at Gordonsville

Last week for some reason the whole offense changed to a wildcat and Rankins wasn't supposed to play on offense but he did for some reason. I'm sure Blake saw something on film that he thought he could take advantage of. I will never second guess the coach he watches film and I don't. But with BC #7 getting hurt really handicapped the offense. I hope he can play next week.

Question for those in the know...was TC that bad up front against H2O?  Or, did H2O just take control up front?

When we played tempo they had a hard time. It seemed to me that they were rotating lineman on and off the field while on defense, so when we ran tempo they had issues getting that done.

Defensively I think H2O’s smaller lineman just played a great game!

I personally would’ve ran more wildcat if I was TC. It seemed to be the only thing working.

From what I've seen on film, I feel like TC has the pieces,  but only came close to putting them together properly against White House.

Regardless of what is said here, Gville will have to play mistake free and tough to win, but I like our chances.

I feel like our defense will be fine, but we definitely will have to do better on offense that what I've seen thus far.

Unfortunately for TC they need a couple more White House teams on their schedule to get the kinks worked out, but GVILLE is not Whitehouse this year. ( you’ve got a solid team)

You may or may not get the win, but I’m picking y’all and this will be y’all’s best opportunity in years to get the W!

We beat them when Barker was still there, and if we beat them this year, I figure we'll beat them the next couple of years as well.

You have said this how many times now? But TC is more banged up now than before the H2O game but I think Gordy will get a lot of #5 if he is healthy enough to play offense.

    • Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
