Definitely looked better tonight, but I also don’t think they get that many possessions either.

Not sure either is a fit for what they’re trying to run to be honest. Brown just got released this week so give him at least a little of a break. Having not practiced for the past 8 or 9 weeks, I did not think he looked that bad. Stanley plays hard too.

Yeah true. It usually is never high scoring with Beech/Henry County unless Jalen Hurd is on the team

Just not sure they fit the system the staff is trying to run. That said, just being released certainly has an effect.
Frauddle
Congrats HC! Statement win and improving each and every week. Well coached and the physicality shows on both sides of the ball. A Beech/HC rematch in the future seems likely. Did we forget the 2011 playoff game against Northeast? 18 penalties 15 on plays of 10 yard plus
FuzzyFootballs44
What an embarrassment for the wanna be Packers. I had faith in this team making a 5A run. After this, im not so sure they could compete in 3A with a Covington or Alcoa.
bottomwriter
Haven't been on here much lately, but I got to give a shout out to them Kendall boys. What about them olddevil? How many times has there been 3 starters from one family in the same season? Edited October 3, 2020 by bottomwriter

matt_8777
I would personally like to thank the Green Wave band for the concert they did every time Henry County had the ball. It was like putting music to highlight plays. Really got the HC fans fired up and the HC players too. Even the coach was dancing on the field. And to top that off, when coach Counce said something to the person who appeared to be the director, she decided to try to shout him down and scold him. He pointed to the scoreboard and walked away. Its disrespectful for a team's band to play every minute you have the ball to try to make it difficult for the coaches and players to communicate. May have been why the dogs weren't called off till the last drive of the game. The Gallatin players held themselves to a high standard of sportsmanship the whole game and my hats off to them for their great sportsmanship during the game. This being said, the band WAS really good though but the director needs to learn some etiquette.

If you are referencing what I think you are, that would be when Coach Counce used profane language at the cheerleading coach. The band directors are two burly men who were never talked to.
