phil24
Hearing reports of FC having a coach escorted out of game after both benches cleared and fought in 3rd qtr of the game. Game was another blowout loss for FC and was called after fight. Anyone know what caused the fight and ejection?

A Franklin County player ripped off the helmet of a Shelbyville player and started punching! Another FC came in and blindsided a guy with punches. That started everything. They were obviously very frustrated and it showed. The FC radio crew explained all of that and was embarrassed by their actions. The police got involved and escorted a FC coach out. I’d be surprised if he coached next week or even keeps his job. 7 players ejected, including 4 from FC and 3 from Shelbyville.

That school has major issues off and on the field that are being completely ignored by the administration.
gypsyroad
A Shelbyville lineman pinned down a FC lineman well after the play was over. The refs weren't doing anything about it and the FC kid was trying to get up. Another FC player tried to knock the Shelbyville player off his teammate and quickly went downhill from there. I didn't see the FC coach that was escorted off do anything but try to keep the players on the sidelines. The refs bear alot of blame along with both coaching staffs. It was out of hand well before this happened.
Pizzpatriot2
The administration and just as much the community of FC is the reason for this. The administration, beginning at the school board level, are for themselves and could care less.

I assume they will have to sit out the next game for being ejected.

Hopefully, every coach and player on both sides uses it as a major learning experience moving forward, both in football and in life. That’s very important.

They were intentionally trying to take the Page QB out in week 3. Some will call it being physical because they support the team in reality it is dirty play. Again I have only seen the streaming games but that is my opinion of that team. FC is not innocent either. They hired a home town guy once again and they are again getting what the good ole boys deserve.

The Cleveland game was the only one available to watch to my knowledge. Intentionally trying to take the Page QB out? Did you see this with your own eyes? Do tell. APGOV4ever
Cunningham is a good, young coach. But he was not ready for a head coaching job. Obvious by the lack of discipline on this team all year. As Boo said, good ole boy system. Got the job because of his grandfather. I don't know why anyone would want this job; however, there were several proven winners with head coaching experience that applied for it. One has multiple state championships and didn't even get an interview. Other qualified candidates got a courtesy interview because the decision was made from the getgo. There was a scuffle between two lineman Friday night. Should have stopped there, but FC players left the bench. I would think more than 4 players will miss next week's game after the TSSAA watches the film.
