In the Meigs thread it says that Cosby had to cancel already due to Covid 19. I'd say they will be several Meigs coaches in the stands scouting those Injuns and Dogs.

I would say so. I’m afraid that won’t be the only team this Chinese Virus screws.

Meigs doesn't need to waste time with either of us. We're a bump in the road. They should head on down and see what Peabody has for em

This is a rare matchup for round 1.  Usually the teams are lopsided, but this one should have the atmosphere of a semifinal game!

Would be packed out if not for all these stupid "rules"...PM, those orchestrated injuns are always a challenge for us hillbillies!

I read that article about your boys.  That’s a great tradition.  We see that a lot here in SP with several families.  And people wonder why we are decent every year.  We have great grands, grands, dads, and kids that grow up the same way as your boys.  Be proud.  I’m sure you are.  One day their kids may end up in the same tradition unless they move off for college and stay away.  Either way it’s an awesome story to pass down

I appreciate that.  The second boy moved off to play college ball and may not head back to the sticks. I expect the others will probably stay here to work but when the grandkids start sprouting, I'm not sure there'll be a Hampton High School....And that's a sad thot to me

East Tennessee Mountaineers if a new school is ever built.

    • Hope the catcher on baseball team come back out and play's football . He didn't play last year if I remember but I don't remember much after that wreck anyways.. But he did play his freshman and soph years and I thought was a very good player. He's put on some size now, so I'm hoping he's thinking about playing again..
    • Pirates are young this year.  Gordy can sleep on them.
    • They’ll get it worked out eventually.Farragut is too good of a program to be down for long. As an OR fan, I can’t really say I’m too distraught about it though.
    • I didn’t even see that until you said something, but I don’t think it’s that bad. Yes, the coaches can’t get along with each other. But I don’t think they’re openly taking shots at each other right in front of the parents. If they are, that’s pitiful though, that’s really pitiful. I sure hope they’re not, but yeah, I’ve heard the same thing from players over at Farragut getting fed up, and I feel as though what the coaching staff has been trying to keep under the prying eyes of the parents is now out on full display.
    • and there is definitely a reason for that—more than just Catholic recruiting.
