Milan about to get the hammer?

What's all this garbage supposed to mean??? Demands for an apology when even the guy himself says that it may be false, race cards being thrown about, speculations about self imposed penalties and TSSAA probationary periods into future seasons... for what???

  Here's what I already know to be the truth... Coach gets fired for poor performance, throws out the race card in the media, and rails against the entire system for being underhanded and him being the "victim". New coach hired with high expectations and much fanfare, but with a small segment still loyal to the former coach, and unhappy with the hire. Team gets transfers, plays well, and is on the brink of being the favorite to go to Cookeville. Allegations are made against the program, and TSSAA investigates. Also a trio of new accounts show up here throwing around rumors and claiming to have heard this junk "on the streets".

  Now for what I think... Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what the most likely scenario is here, but the great thing is, all everyone has to do is wait and see if Coach Diffee, the Milan administration, or the kids' guardian's have been untruthful.

I’ve seen a couple of people say that Milan is ok because they would have run this through TSSAA and have approvals on file. Unfortunately, that does not mean they won’t get you. We (Fayetteville) had multiple letters from Childress saying we were good on a transfer last year before TSSAA made us forfeit some wins. We went from 10-0 to 4-6 and missed playoffs. I hope that doesn’t happen to Milan. It really sucks for the kids.

Talk to the young man frequently.   Chatted a while last night.   Apparently there is a family owned business that is being identified as the "second address".  Has been living in Milan the entire time.   Hopefully everything works out for all involved.

The family owned business is on North Parkway. Now what about Timberlake?

      TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
