The punter is good and extra points by the kicker looked good when Milan played them. Kicker didn’t attempt any field goals so I can’t speak on that. One of their scores was on a kick return against us. So I would say don’t kick it to them if you can help it. Overall, they seem solid on special teams.

Now that I think about it I think I remember Milan blocked an extra point or two. Maybe I’m wrong and @Tigersandcatscan chime in.

Forgot y’all did block some extra points. That hasn’t happened since. But have been at times inconsistent on extra points for sure. Killer in close games. Whitley can hurt you on punt and kick returns. Just looked have missed I0 extra points, so yes that is concerning!!!

I hope every player on both teams are all healthy and ready to go. I think Springfields biggest strength is they really don’t have any big weaknesses. Really solid in all 3 phases of the game. HC cannot afford to turn the ball over , no breakdowns in special teams and not many penalties. Imo HC will have to have some success running the football to have a chance to win. I do believe there will be a opportunity for at least one big pass play and at least one big run play for them in this game. The D has got to have the best performance of the year. They played a good game last week, need more of the same tonight. Got to swarm the ball! Offensive line has got to give Hunt time to work. Need to get the ball out quick cause I feel like the Jackets will probably bring the heat.

Springfield rarely kicks deep on kick offs, we usually do a hard squib down to the 20-25. I would expect the same tonight.

That kick is rough to corral. Our guys had a little trouble with it, but didn’t lose any. Your kicker does a great job with it.

Just tell your kicker to put it in the end zone then you don’t have to worry about returns.

That’s what Wood for y’all does ain’t it? It lands almost in the same spot every time to I’ve noticed. He can bang em!

I’m speaking of Springfield’s kicker and how they kicked to us. Nothing about our kicker or telling someone to just kick it in the end zone.
