Dresden at Lake County

Who gets this 2nd round win? Lake County has been hit by covid pretty hard this year. The Falcons have missed 4 games this season because of it. One of those games cost Lake County a region championship. LC has a first year head coach in Corey Quinn. He has led LC to a 5 and 1 record with no preseason and battling serious covid issues. Dresden I think battled covid and wasn't able to play the first two games of season. The first game played between the two was the first game of the year for both teams. Lake County dominated the first 3 and half quarters leading 18 to 0 with 2 tds called back. Dresden scored 2 tds in the last 3 and half minutes to make the game close. I am a little worried the time off might effect the Falcons some early in the game but I think they will knock the rust off. The Dresden lose to Humblodt really throws me off. I am picking the Falcons by 2 to 3 tds. What's everyone's else take on this game.

Think they may be a little rusty but think LC wins by 2tds.Im sure they havent been able to practice for a couple of those weeks due to quarateen.LC 68 said LC should have 2 starters back from last year? Will that come into play at all?

Dresden has primed the pump, unclogged the injectors, greased up all its joints & bearings, is washed & waxed to a smooth mirrored shine, and is ready to take Tiptonville High by storm. Lions will allow LC to have some plays, perhaps a few scores,  we’re being kind like that this year.. but allowing the other teams the W, don’t think so. Not anymore. The Falcons will be partly stewed & partly fried by the hungry Lions, with ending score being 26-21. Dresden spoils the mighty Falcons’ hope for a repeat gold. GOOOO LIONS!

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
