McMinn Co at Dobyns Bennett Decision on Monday

Was replying to Waco before this. It’s been a long night.  This has been a surreal experience for sure.  I just hope the game gets played.  Best of luck to db and Mcminn if it does.  Sure would like all of our seniors to get to play this game.

1. McMinn County has no positive....game is played. Next round moved back to Saturday at Maryville. 

2. McMinn County does have a positive....DB wins. Next round is played Friday at Maryville

I got the opinion that it will not be played and the TSSAA will decide on Monday which team moves on. One team will definitely be upset.

Could this game get played after the season is officially over if it ends up not getting played this weekend?  By the way I don’t think it’ll get played this weekend.

We'll eventually get the real story about what happened tonight. But from what I know so far Ii don't see how they could not move DB on to the next round. They are more or less an innocent bystander in all this,

This is really a hard situation for all involved. I hate to see Covid ruin the playoffs, but it may be fixing to, The question is can the teams and coaches all get  a rapid test and be able to play on Monday, moving the trip to Maryville back to Saturday, I hope they get to play.

So....Maryville plays the winner on Saturday and the winner loses a day of prep for the next opponent - likely Oakland? My question is why should Maryville have to move the game to Saturday?

Concur.

Already losing a day or two of film prep while Chilly sorts this mess out on Monday.
