Actually last year's Peabody was the best,if you remember everyone on the T said we would have a HUGE drop off this year,maybe we did,maybe we didn't ,no one said Waverly would be good ,but you are !

Lol we don’t have to prove anything by winning state this year. Whatever happens it’s been a great year with 12 wins. Waverly is the one that has to prove themselves against the tide. Js

Peabody Pride you are about the only one that is a realist on here. I respect you for that. No reason for the rest of Tide land to get butt hurt because I have pride in my school and take offense to the lack of respect our program gets. Friday will be a one to two score game.

My reading comprehension is top notch. Ill leave the crayon eating to you and @vandyfan1. You didn’t ask you insinuated we had a bunch of transfers. It’s the same crap you guys said in 2018. We have transfers and our schedule is weak it’s almost like a broken record.

Balanced is a fact ! They will be very McKenzie like as far as skill guys ,Dooley is a stud,I think this comes down to the trenches would you agree?

I don’t think so. Waverly I feel like is very versatile. If they can’t pound the ball straight at Peabody they will air it out or just play smart misdirection and hit the outsides. Key to this game for Waverly is stopping Peabody’s run game. The key for Peabody is preventing Waverly from the explosive play. Defense will win this game.

The quick outside routes have worked well for y'all ! Almost a extension of the run game .

      RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.

      I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
