We’re turning into a basketball school. Beat a good sunbright game one. Hung a hundred on coalfield and beat clarkrange 68-42 or there about tonight. The new coaches are getting it done but then again I’m a little biased lol

Football players on the team? A good coach with athletic fb players can usually play with about anybody!

Yep. Our RB / punter can jump out of the gym. Could dunk as a sophomore and shoots a good 3 ball. My son that played QB at Oneida in ‘08 and Tusculum coaches basketball now at Oneida.

Man! I do too! Mine eats like he's starved to death all the time. Not lost much thus far. Morgan's keeping his weight so far too.

I'll tell ya what,  that kicker of ours is an athlete. I can see him contributing a lot next year.

Good news all the way around, agree about the kicker. Need to get some of these defensive back bigger and stronger, one kid had to make away to many tackles, lol

Thats cool! Wish my second one would make his way back here and coach somewhere but looks like he may end up with a position at UT.

That’s not a bad gig at all. Mine came back as a teacher and football coach before he moved to basketball. I was able to be on staff when mine played and was still there when he came back as a coach so I got to experience his playing years and his coaching years from the sidelines with him. It was really cool to get that opportunity.

That’s awesome. Can he coach QBs to at UT. A guy that seats in front of me at football games works in the AD department for a different sport.

Hoping the same here. But if not, maybe he'll let me in on the newest technology to renew my strength and youth LOL.

The equipment UT uses to advance their athletes is amazing! Just amazing

Not sure where he'll end up down there. Could play QB for UT at this point Lol! I'm sure he'd know the person you speak of as he's in connection with trainers in all sports there.

    • That’s a good line. Wins would be Soddy, Howard, and Ooltewah. Maybe East Ham again or Knox Central. Tyner maybe but being that late in the year it’s hard to say. I don’t think we get by Red Bank this year.    Rhea could be anywhere from 2-8 to 6-4.
    • I agree with the Farragut and Bradley claim. Those will both be wins. Bearden like you say is depending on when you get them in comparison to when the wheels fall off.  As far as West goes I’m 50-50. They have been able to reload so far so until they show me they haven’t I can’t count them out.
    • during the 2nd round of the playoffs last year against Milan, Gray partially tore his meniscus. He had a minor repair around Thanksgiving. Recovery time was minimal and he has been full force for baseball this season.
    • What do ya’ll think the O/U will be? I would set the line at 2.5
    • Playing high school sports is a privilege not a right.  The college did not have to rescind the scholarship.  Scholarship offers are pulled all the time for a number of reasons. That was 100% their choice.  A coach can keep, cut, or dismiss any player that they want to without reason anytime they want.  Is that the right way to run a program?? I don't think that it is, but these are the facts of the matter. This case has absolutely 0% chance of going in the plaintiff's favor. Futhermore, I'd imagine that these administrators and the coach are a part of some teaching or coaching organization that will cover at least 1 million dollars each in legal fees. Obviously the kid and her family feel like there were "damages" thus the lawsuit.  Unfortunately, the law is not on their side in this case.
