I have Bad News and Good News...

First the Good News, I was diagnosed with Diabetes back in 2002 and I am still alive.

Second the Bad News, next week ( probably Friday ) my Foot Doctor is cutting off a toe on my left foot. My toe and I have lived together for 57 years so I am gonna miss the silly guy.

I try to be the kind of person who makes lemonade when life hands me lemons. What I have decided to do is order 12 Coke Bottles with a customized labels. The label will read..." Oak Ridge Wildcats, WWA Coke." Of course Bounder gets one of the bottles since he is the Godfather of the Whoop *** Gang. I will also give CardinalGray one because we graduated from ORHS in 1982 together. I get one, as well.

That means the first NINE people who ask for one will get one. I hope to bring them to the Secret City Festival on September 24 or 25. and hand them out there. I'm sure we can think of other ways to get them to you. I would rather not have to pay shipping charges but we could work something out.

This is just a way I can meet some of you, talk about Oak Ridge and CoachT. Also, to show y'all that just because I am a proud Liberal Democrat American, I am not a socialist. That is a joke people.

I'm Honored and am praying for you my friend. My wife has that hateful disease and uses two types of insulin a day 5 times a day. I'll be working the car show at Secret City Festival.

Show me something, literally ANYTHING, some fire, anything and I might say the same thing. So far I’ve seen nothing to give me the least bit of confidence that we’ll improve. Sure, it’s possible, but I don’t have a whole lot of faith at the moment.
