I believe CardinalGrey created one months ago but I am not sure. I have watched some video of South Doyle scrimmage and they look tough. I have a feeling this season in East Tennessee 5-A will be NUTS! So many good teams.

Sonny Moore's Power Rankings hasd Oak Ridge at # 43 in the State. McCallie is # 1.

Good luck against William Blount. A Clinton win would be a good way to start the season.

Back to SD....I agree with you. They are very good! OR is going to have their work cut out for them, but it's a non-region game and has nothing to do with making the playoffs. OR traditionally starts off slow and gets better as the season goes on.

It would be nice for both OR & Clinton to come into our game 2-0.

Right now CoachT's Big One contest has Oak Ridge being selected by 82.1% and South Doyle picked by 17.9 %.

No way this game should not be closer. SD is talented, well couched and highly motivated.

What is the opinion of Wildcat fans to the Class of 1989 idea to build a bigger student section by giving away tickets and inviting all OR school system students to sit at the game by schools?

My opinion is mixed. One, St.Mary's should be included and now is not the time to do this worthy idea.

The game will be streamed on Rivalry Thursday and live on a Knoxville TV station. I am very thankful for Mark Packer for showing the game. The Oak Ridge radio broadcast is usually on Prep Radio.com. David Clary on the call. AKA The Voice of the Wildcats

RWR...Roll Wildcats Roll!

According to Prep Redzone Tennessee, Kendall Jackson is one of 5 top choices to win Class 5-A Mr. Football. Also considered were Peyton Sharpe and Elijah Rodgers.

Jackson MUST stay healthy. Rodgers MUST adjust to OR's play calling. Sharpe being  named the starting QB is totally new to me. I had heard he could play DB when Tarwater is at QB

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
