Sometimes things work out just the way they're supposed to...not sure if Evan Russell had any DI interest other than the Vols, but it was over the moment they offered. Evan is a hard worker and great teammate, and would have been "part" of any team that he joined, but he'd dreamed of wearing orange since he was small. Tennessee was an "also ran" in the SEC, and an afterthought in the NCAA when he went there, but in hindsight, the only way his career would have been any better would have been to win the World Series in Omaha. I just hope that the kid is as happy where he's going as Evan was, he enjoys his time in Memphis, he gets an education, and everything else will be gravy.
