Very true I’m 50/50 on the matter the new stadium will look nice not sure it will have the same tradition and mystic the old one did

Hate to see the visitor side reduced but I’m sure it was a cost issue.  If rebuilt in current size, bid goes from 850 to 1 mil for example. Was nice to have for the big games but there aren’t many each season where the capacity is needed. Especially with jackets not winning the region the last three seasons so fewer home playoff games!

Nearly a mil for the stadium, but you still pay your educators at the bottom of the state.   Academics and band are the only thing winning anything up there and ya'll do your teachers like this?

It was time to make some repairs for safety sake. Kudos to the leadership for making it financially as painless as possible.

It says in the article thanks to the lower everyday school operations cost. Gate goes(suppose to) to the sports team not the school, and this is being paid for by the school not the football team. But who knows lol
