Mr Baseball should be between him and Burleson If this is true should be pleanty of scouts on hand for this single a state tournament

We heard Gordonsville had a pitcher that was in upper 80's but he got knocked out in 3rd inning. What info does anyone have on South Pitt Cagle throws around 75 but has nasty stuff Edited May 23, 2021 by powerp

tradertwo
It's all just talk. Go back to '16 and check the threads and you'll find that most people were ready to crown Loretto champs the day of the draw. All the "favorites" except them (they were #1 most of the season) were in the opposite bracket, but one of the cupcakes happened to upset the apple cart by beating the #1 team twice, then the defending champs to win it all . Moral of the story...everyone there has earned the right to be there by winning the games that would have sent them home...being crowned champs takes the same effort that they've all shown already.
cbg
It takes 6-8 solid pitchers that throw strikes to win a state championship. Most teams have 2 or 3 guys that are decent but once you get past those 2 or 3 guys the team has zero pitching.

That’s why I think ER has the best chance to win.

You have to be really efficient in order to pitch more than once or twice in the tourney now. Staying out of the losers bracket is even more important nowadays. For whatever reason most high school coaches refuse to develop kids that have the ability to throw strikes.

True, I see it a lot at middle school level to. There will be kids wanting to thrown curveballs, but cannot spot a fastball consistently.
