Do not think you are going to have to worry about that. Last year WV played the top 3 teams in its region a total of 4 times.  In those 4 games, WV averaged 10.5 points, and was held to under 7 twice.... This tells me when they play great football teams the offense slows way down. I would consider Peabody a great football team. 

They averaged over 40 against the weaker teams.... 

Just food for thought.

Like this post and think it has some relevance, anyone that is good will look great against subpar talent.  Not saying that Dresden is bad, but they haven’t been very relevant the last few years.  I do think that Westview is quite a bit better than they were last year, the big question is how much ground have they made up against the more elite teams?  We’ll find out Tomm night

Several people on these boards have talked about Dresden being good this year. They are below average. No disrespect intended but they ain’t there yet.

No. They don’t stand a chance. But yes they need to go ahead and show up and take that L. Will make them better in the long run. They won’t see a team as good as Peabody in 2A all year.

I definitely think this will be a good and competitive game.  Especially if Simpson is given enough time in the pocket and Westview can get some scores early on.  It will be a very interesting game either way

He won’t be given enough time in the pocket. He will be running for his life. He will make a few plays on the run.

Westview definitely has Peabody’s attention. Some of these guys calling for a blowout aren’t Peabody fans

Westview may very well get blowed out and if they do then so be it. But either way I believe they come out a better team win or lose.

Peabody could win state in any of the classification from 1A-3A and would compete for 4A title.  Peabody has won 4 of the last 7 state championships and haven’t lost a game since like September. Along the way they have beaten teams from 1A-5A including defending champions of pervious years. So till Peabody is beaten they will continue to he the heavy favorite for ALL there games they play.
